MRM Parents’ Day Cake Decorating Contest 2026 (“CONTEST”)
Theme : Parents’ Day Date : 24 May 2026
Time : 1:00pm-3:00pm
Venue : Level 3 @ Next to Nest 13, Megah Rise Mall
Terms & Conditions
1. This Contest, organised by Megah Rise Mall (“Organiser”) is open to parent-child teams consisting of one (1) parent/legal guardian and one (1) child only. Child participants must be aged between 5 to 12 years old. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and limited to 20 teams only.
2. Interested participants may register and submit their entry for the Contest from today until 20 May 2026 via the Microsoft Form: https://forms.office.com/r/3753wYkHdA . All participants are required to register as a PLAYCE member to participate in this Contest. Incomplete, inaccurate, or late registrations may be rejected at the Organiser’s sole discretion.
3. The Contest duration is two (2) hours. The Organiser will provide each team with a 6-inch cake and one colour cream only. All participants are required to bring their own decoration items and tools (if required) on the Contest day. Participants are responsible for ensuring that all materials and tools brought are safe and suitable for use by children.
4. The cake must feature the Parents’ Day theme. All decorative items must be carried out and completed during the Contest day. Pre-made decorative items are not allowed. Any inappropriate, offensive, dangerous, or non-family-friendly designs/materials may result in disqualification at the Organiser’s discretion.
5. Judging will be based on creativity (25%), colour combination (25%), neatness (25%), and overall presentation (25%). Marks may be deducted for the use of ready-made decorative items. The Organiser reserves the right to appoint the judging panel and amend judging criteria where necessary without prior notice.
6. Parent may assist their child during the Contest, however scores will be deducted if the parent completes a substantial portion of the work. Entries where the parent is found to have done the majority of the work will be disqualified.
7. The judge’s decision is final and binding, and no further requests, claims or correspondence whatsoever will be entertained.
8. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any registrations that do not provide satisfactory proof of PLAYCE membership or event registration.
9. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify winners found to be in breach of the Terms & Conditions stated herein.
10. Each winner is entitled to one prize only. All prizes are not exchangeable for cash and are non-transferable.
11. Winner announcement and prize presentation will be held on 24 May 2026 (Sunday), at 3.30pm.
12. Employees, tenants and promoters of Megah Rise Mall are not eligible to participate in this Contest. 13. The Organiser will not be responsible for any accident, loss, mishap, death, damage, or injuries occurring during the Contest in any manner whatsoever. No claims of any kind can be made against the Organiser. Participants agree to be bound by the Terms & Conditions and the final decision of the Organiser.
14. The Organiser retains all rights to publish and use the names, personal details, photographs, and/or video recordings of participants, including all materials created or submitted during the Contest, for advertising and/or promotional purposes without prior notice. By registering for the Contest, participants and/or their parents/guardians consent to such use by the Organiser and waive any ownership rights or claims to compensation. By joining the Contest, each participant and/or their parents/guardians also consent to continue receiving promotional materials and information from PPB Hartabina Sdn. Bhd.
15. The Organiser reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to amend the terms and conditions mentioned above or related to the Contest at any time without prior notice.
16. The Organiser reserves the right at its sole and absolute discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Contest at any time without prior notice.
17. The Organiser’s decision on any and all matters in respect of the Contest is final and conclusive, and no further challenges, objections, requests, claims, or correspondence whatsoever will be entertained.
18. The protection of personal data is an important concern to PPB Hartabina Sdn Bhd and personal data collected will be treated in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Notice of the company at https://ppbproperties.com.my/personal-data-protection-notice/
19. Upon filling the form and presenting the PLAYCE App, the participant and/or their parent/guardian on behalf of the participant is deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions and acknowledges that he/she has read and understood PPB Hartabina Sdn.
