STEM Competition Friendly Match

Terms & Conditions

1. This Competition, organized by Megah Rise Mall (“Organizer”) is open to participants aged 4-21 years old. There are two (2) age categories:

    1. Category A: for participants aged 4-12 years old. Participants in Category A must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian during the Competition.
    2. Category B: for participants aged 13-21 years old. Participants in Category B may compete individually or in pairs during the Competition.

2. The duration of Session 1 is three and a half (3.5) hours, and the duration of Session 2 is four (4) hours. Each Session includes a two (2)-hour Workshop covering all four Competition Challenges (Drone & Robotics), followed by a one (1)-hour Competition for all four Competition Challenges, conducted concurrently. Session 1 includes a thirty (30)-minute break, while Session 2 includes a one (1)-hour break.

3. The Competition consists of two (2) Sessions daily, which are

    1. Session 1: 10:30AM to 12:30PM Workshop and Competition from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.
    2.  Session 2: 3:00pm to 5:00pm Workshop and Competition from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.

4. Interested participants may register and submit their entries for the Competition from today until 3 July 2026 via the official registration form (Megah Rise Page | Ciptrix).

    1. Participants aged 18 years and above are required to register as PLAYCE members prior to registration.
    2. For participants below 18 years old, registration must be completed by their parent or legal guardian.  One (1) PLAYCE Membership may be used to register up to two (2) children below 18 years old for the Competition.
    3. Participants may register for Session 1, Session 2, or both across the two Competition days. Participants may register for more than one of the four (4) Competition Challenges. However, each participant may only register once for each Competition Challenge throughout the Competition period.
    4. Any participant found to have submitted multiple registrations for the same Competition Challenge will be disqualified from the Competition.

5. Four (4) Competition Challenges will be conducted simultaneously during both Session 1 and Session 2.

  • Challenge A: Drone Obstacle Race
  • Challenge B: Drone Combat & Target Strike
  • Challenge C: Robo Football
  • Challenge D: Robomission: Base Rush

6. Each Competition Challenge consists of two (2) rounds. Each round will have a duration of two (2) minutes, with a total participation time of approximately five (5) minutes per team per Challenge, including transition and preparation time.

7. Scores will be awarded based on each team’s performance in accordance with the judging criteria and competition rules set by the Organizer.

8. Scores and ranking will be displayed on a live leaderboard and/or webpage. Any form of misconduct, unfair behaviour, rule violation, or cheating by participants will result in immediate disqualification.

9. All drone and robotics equipment provided during the Workshop and Competition remains the property of the Organizer and may only be used during the Workshop and Competition. Participants are strictly prohibited from removing any equipment from the venue. 

10. Participants shall exercise reasonable care when using any equipment provided by the Organizer. Any intentional misuse, vandalism, or reckless handling of equipment may result in immediate disqualification, and the participant and/or parent or legal guardian may be held responsible for the cost of repair or replacement.

11. Participants must comply with all safety instructions, operational guidelines, and supervision requirements issued by the Organizer at all times. The Organizer reserves the right to remove or disqualify any participant whose conduct may pose a safety risk to themselves, other participants, spectators, or event personnel.

12. To ensure the smooth running of the Competition, participants must be present when their name or team name is called. Any participants that fails to report when called may forfeit its turn and the slot may be allocated to the next available team.

13. All registrations must be submitted through the official registration link provided by the Organizer. Registration is subject to slot availability and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

14. Walk-in registration may be accepted, subject to slot availability at the time of registration.

15. Participants are required to comply with all Competition rules, regulations and instructions issued by the Organizer and judges throughout the Competition period.

16. Any aggressive behaviour, poor sportsmanship, or unsafe handling of equipment by participants, parent or legal guardian will not be permitted.

17. The Organizer reserves the right to verify participant eligibility and disqualify any participant whose registration details are found to be incomplete, inaccurate or in breach of these Terms & Conditions.

18. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any registrations that do not provide satisfactory proof of PLAYCE membership or Competition registration.

19. Employees, tenants and promoters of Megah Rise Mall are not eligible to participate in this Competition and are not permitted to redeem an entry on behalf of customers.

20. For participants below eighteen (18) years of age, registration and participation in the Competition shall constitute confirmation by the parent or legal guardian that consent has been granted for the participant to participate in all Workshop and Competition

21. In the event of equipment malfunction, technical disruption, or operational issues beyond the participant's control, the Organizer reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to allow a restart, replay, reattempt, or alternative scoring arrangement.

22. In the event of a tie in scores, the Organizer shall determine the tie-break mechanism, and its decision shall be final and binding on all participants.

23. The Organizer will not be responsible for any accident, loss, mishap, death, damage, or injuries occurring during or arising from participation in the Competition. No claims of any kind can be made against the Organizer. Participants agree to be bound by the Terms & Conditions and the final decision of the Organizer.

24. The Organizer retains all rights to publish and use the names, personal details, photographs, and/or video recordings of participants, including all materials created or submitted during the Competition, for advertising and/or promotional purposes without prior notice. By registering for the Competition the participant and/or their parent or legal guardian consent to such use by the Organizer and waive any ownership rights or claims to compensation. By joining the Competition, each the participant and/or their parent or legal guardian also consent to continue receiving promotional materials and information from PPB Hartabina Sdn. Bhd.

25. The Organizer reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to amend the Terms & Conditions mentioned above or related to the Competition at any time without prior notice.

26. The Organizer reserves the right to amend, postpone, suspend, or cancel the Competition or any part thereof at its sole discretion without prior notice.

27. The Organizer’s decision on any and all matters in respect of the Competition is final and conclusive, and no further challenges, objections, requests, claims, or correspondence whatsoever will be entertained.

28. The protection of personal data is an important concern to PPB Hartabina Sdn Bhd and personal data collected will be treated in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Notice of the company at https://ppbproperties.com.my/personal-data-protection-notice/

29. Upon filling the form and presenting the PLAYCE App, the participant and/or their parent or legal guardian on behalf of the participant is deemed to have accepted the Terms & Conditions and acknowledges that he/she has read and understood PPB Hartabina Sdn. Bhd.’s Privacy Policy and Personal Data Notice, which can be found on Megah Rise Mall’s website(https://ppbproperties.com.my/personal-data-protection-notice/)
